=============

This section documents the mathematical definitions and assumptions underlying
the tomographic binning utilities provided by Binny.

It is intended to make binning choices explicit and reproducible, and to
clarify how different schemes relate to common formulations used in cosmology.

The pages in this section describe the theoretical ingredients involved in
constructing tomographic bins, including the parent redshift distribution,
tomographic binning schemes, redshift uncertainty models, and statistical
summaries of the resulting bins.
